# Final Cut Pro FAQ

> macOS blocks the app, or Facebetter Beauty does not show up in Final Cut Pro.

## macOS says the app is damaged or cannot be opened

The installer is not signed or notarized yet, so Gatekeeper may block it. Try in this order:

1. Right-click **Facebetter FCP Beauty.app** → **Open** → **Open**.
2. **System Settings** → **Privacy & Security** → **Open Anyway**.
3. In Terminal:

```bash theme={null}
xattr -cr "/Applications/Facebetter FCP Beauty.app"
```

Then open the app and click **Set up for Final Cut**. Install steps: [Install](/fcp/install).

## I cannot find Facebetter Beauty in Final Cut Pro

1. Open **Facebetter FCP Beauty.app** and finish **Set up for Final Cut**.
2. Fully quit Final Cut Pro (not only close the project window), then reopen it.
3. In the Effects browser, search for **Facebetter Beauty**.

## Does this work on Intel Macs?

No. The Final Cut / Motion plugin currently supports **Apple silicon** only.
